Dave McClure, Founders Fund Dave McClure has been geeking out in Silicon Valley for over twenty years as a software developer, entrepreneur, startup advisor, angel investor, blogger, & internet marketing nerd. Dave currently runs a seed-stage investment program for Founders Fund, and also manages the fbFund REV social incubator for Facebook. Dave is an advisor or investor in more than 50 companies including: Canopy Financial, Mint.com, SlideShare, Mashery, TeachStreet, KISSmetrics, Simply Hired, Twilio, Bit.ly, UserVoice, and CreditKarma, among others.

Matt Jacobson, LaunchBox Digital Matt Jacobson is a business strategist, problem solver and transaction facilitator who has helped many early stage companies define and execute their business plans. Matt oversees all of the activities of LaunchBox Digital including operations, administration, investments and programming. Previously, he was a Vice President at AOL where he lead major strategic corporate initiatives, and helped define and grow AOL’s wireless and digital service businesses. Matt previously served as an M&A advisor at a number of investment banks including ABN AMRO, WR Hambrecht, Peter J. Solomon Co. and Toronto Dominion Securities. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. |

Errol Arkilic, The National Science Foundation Errol Arkilic joined The National Science Foundation in October 2003. He is one of 10 Program managers in the Small Business Innovation Research program at NSF, where he focuses on IT and security technologies. Before joining NSF, he was president and CEO of StrataGent Life Sciences - a venture-backed startup in Silicon Valley. Prior to StrataGent, Errol was president of Phasyn, Inc., a developer of packaging technologies for optical components, and manager of product engineering at Redwood Microsystems, both in the Bay Area. He holds a doctorate from MIT. |
Startup2Startup was co-founded by Dave McClure & Leonard Speiser and Dave is coming to Washington, D.C. to kickoff Geeks on a Plane.
The primary goals of Startup2Startup are:

- Figure out the business models & marketing
- Meet promising new geeks & entrepreneurs
- Help the next generation of startups do better
- Eat, drink, & have fun
At the very least, we plan to get the last one right.
